About

I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX, growing up loving to draw and paint, and graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in Geography, having dropped the only photography class I had taken. Nonetheless, the course did introduce me to photography which I adopted as a hobby. After moving to Dallas I was hired at Alderman-Dallas Studio—a large catalog studio, and my job evolved from grunt work moving set pieces to assistant photographer to fashion photographer. We worked with film at that time—which made me a better photographer because we had to get it right with only being able to refer to blurry polaroids. I still like to get the lighting right in the first place so that dependence on post-production is limited as much as possible. When that studio closed I opened my own studio and have been blessed to find something that I love doing as a career! Clients have characterized me as being easy to work with and with being patient. It is my hope to work with you on your next project! Wade For It!
